Beat It Drum School is based at 567 Shettleston Road, Glasgow G31 5JT, in the heart of Glasgow's East End — close to the Forge Retail Park and Parkhead, with free off-road parking right outside. Every lesson is one-to-one, taught by working drummers in our fully equipped teaching studios.
We teach children aged 6 and up, teenagers and adults, and complete beginners are always welcome. There's no need to own a kit — professional acoustic drum kits and drumsticks are provided in every session, and your first lesson is free, so you can come in, meet your tutor and try a lesson before deciding. “I have been getting drum lessons with Dave for over 6 months now and I am loving it. He is a relaxed, encouraging, adaptive and easygoing teacher, who clearly has a passion for drumming. He is (extremely) patient with me and is tolerant of my quirks…and constant swearing. Without fail, I walk out of my weekly lessons feeling empowered, energised and happier than when I walked in. Money well spent!”

“My son started drum lessons with Dave around 5months ago and loves it! He’s developed a wider interest in music and his confidence has improved greatly. We travel a wee bit to have lessons with Dave as he was recommended from a friend but it’s absolutely worth it given the quality of lessons he gives. Dave really personalises the lessons to suit my sons learning style and growing interest in music. I’d absolutely recommend Dave @ Beat It Drum School to anyone thinking of starting their wee, or big one in a new interest!!”
